Alternative Bursaries and Scholarships – September

Students who miss out on an NSFAS bursary for the 2020 academic year can still apply for alternative bursaries or scholarships in September and October. It’s not always a guarantee that an applicant is successful in their NSFAS application. That’s why students need to look at alternative options in case their application is rejected.

There are a number of bursary options available across many different areas of expertise – from the Arts to Engineering to Commerce to the different forms of Sciences. Read more below on what alternative bursaries, scholarships, and student loan options are available for students in September and October 2019.

Keep in mind that the available bursaries, student loans, and scholarships do not equate to free money. They would all have some form or another of repayment that a student would have to repay. Remember to weigh up your options as to decide whether you actually qualify for the bursary/scholarship of your choice.
