Open and Closing date for Applications

The application period has just opened.

*It closes on Friday, 19 January 2018.

Is a Place Guaranteed?

Unisa will process applications on a first come, first served basis. They will not process applications received after 19 January.

And they will make offers of a place to study, if they still have a place available for the course you applied for.

Will I study for Free?

Unisa has already stated that first time applicants who register for the first semester in 2018 can get fully funded by NSFAS, if they adhere to the NSFAS requirements.

In short, the NSFAS requirement is a household income of less than R350 000 per year. These students will have all their Unisa fees paid by NSFAS. And it will be bursaries, not loans. So you won’t pay it back.
