How Can I Calculate My APS?

You may have noticed that we have added a section labelled ‘APS level’ to the table above. An APS is an Admission Point Score, and it is used by universities and colleges to determine a student’s competence before accepting them into a course. You can calculate your APS by first determining your APS level per subject.

Because Life Orientation is not included in your APS, you will receive a total of six (6) scores. Then add everything up, and you will have your APS, which you will be able to use to apply for higher education. To easily calculate your APS, you can use this APS calculator.
